We offer standard free shipping on order over $45. If your order total is less than this, the standard shipping cost is $4.99. You can also opt for expedited shipping for $34.99 if your order total is over $45.

Delivery Timeline

All orders are normally processed within 1-2 business days after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Please note, that we currently only ship to USA, Canada & UK. Our standard delivery time is 10-15 business days and our expedited delivery time is 5-10 business days.

Tracking

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within the timeline stated under "delivery timeline", please contact us at info@maisonalsalam.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Return Policy

We offer a 60-day return policy. This means that if you contact our customer service within 30 days of receiving your goods, you have the right to return your purchase. The products that will be returned must be in original packaging and condition. We will refund you as soon as we receive the products.

Wrong or Defective Products

If we mistakenly ship the wrong items or if any of the products you receive are defective, then naturally we will send you a new package and arrange for the damaged goods to be returned to us. Contact our customer service with your order number and a photo and we’ll assist you immediately.

What is a wall art canvas?

A wall art canvas is an image printed from an inkjet printer onto canvas. Canvas prints are similar in appearance to oil and acrylic paintings.

What is the difference between a poster and a canvas?

A canvas print is printed on cotton canvas, an art print is printed on card stock. Either option deliver clear, and crisp image with vivid colours. The final major difference between a poster and a canvas print is price, where the poster would be considerably less. Poster framed behind glass or printed on glossy paper can look stunning when displayed in the right space, but in rooms with a lot of light the shiny finish can cause glare and reflections. Canvas prints, on the other hand, have a satin-matte finish making them the perfect medium to display wall arts in brightly lit rooms.

Are your wall art canvas framed?

No all of our canvas are delivered unframed and unstretched (not stretched over a wood frame), also known as rolled canvas. If you need help selecting the perfect frame for your artwork feel free to contact us.

Are your wall art printed on a cotton or polyester canvas?

Our art prints are printed on 280 gsm premium cotton canvas which are usually considered higher-quality and closer to what you would find in a museum. We also prefer cotton over polyester for their longevity as the colour seeps into cloth made with cotton fibers while it remains on the surface of synthetic polyester strands.

What does 280 gsm stands for?

The cotton weight is measured in gsm which stands for “grams per square meter”. You will find below a little guide to gsm :

60-100 gsm - This the weight an A4 paper feels.

110-140 gsm - This is the weight a poster feels. It’s sturdy enough to withstand a little wear and tear but too thin for a fine art print.

170-200 gsm - This a more weighty and sturdy canvas. This is the minimum weight for an art print.

210-300 gsm - This is generally the weight of a premium fine art print. It is a closer to the feeling of a card with a tactile feel but still has a bend to it.

310-400 gsm - This a much thicker, card-like feel. This is the weight you'd likely feel for greetings cards and wedding invitations.

What does giclee print stands for?

The word Giclée (“g-clay”), is derived from the French verb gicler meaning “to squirt or spray”. It is a printing process that produces a near continuous tone image, smoother gradation between tones, and a more finely differentiated color palette. The quality of a giclee print is far superior to all other forms of printing and allows the color to remains the same over time and prevent the paper from ever turning yellow.

What do I do if my package and products were damaged?

If your package and products were damaged upon arrival please contact our customer service with your order number and a photo and we’ll assist you immediately. As soon as we receive the pictures of the damaged package and products, upon acceptance of the faults we will send you a new package and arrange for the damaged goods to be returned to us.
